Fascination with ancient Egyptian artifacts profoundly influenced archaeology and popular culture. The undisturbed intact articles found in Tut's tomb became icons of romance and mystery. Bohemian glass factories produced decorated elements to be used in the creation of "artifact" jewelry. I designed these earrings using decorated sculptured glass pharaohs.
